Who we are
Netvest is a UK property investment platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address, and if you choose to tell us, your investor type and how many properties you own. We use this to invite you to early access and to understand who is interested in Netvest.
- Beta accounts: your login email and the portfolio information you enter (property addresses, purchase details, mortgage figures, tenancy details).
- Technical: IP addresses are checked transiently to protect our forms and login from abuse.
Cookies
We use three categories of cookies:
- Necessary: required for login, security, and remembering your cookie choice. These are always on.
- Analytics: help us understand how the site is used, only set with your consent.
- Advertising: let us measure the performance of our marketing campaigns (for example, when you arrive from an ad), only set with your consent.
You choose which of these you're happy with the first time you visit, and can change your mind at any time via in the footer.
How we use it
- To email you about early access and the launch (waitlist, with your consent)
- To provide the product: valuations, analytics and deal-finding on the data you enter
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest)
When you search for properties, the location you search (such as a postcode) is sent to our data providers to fetch results. Your identity is never shared with them.
Storage and sharing
Your data is stored securely with our infrastructure providers (including Supabase for our database and authentication) and is encrypted in transit. We share personal data only with the service providers that run Netvest, and only so they can do that. We never sell your data, and we never share it with estate agents or marketers.
Retention
Waitlist details are kept until launch invitations are complete or you ask to be removed. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted when you close it.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, or to receive a copy of the data you gave us. Email hello@netvest.example and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
